iGEM Outaouais is a local organization developping biotech solutions, but they lack a platform to display their work, which hinders potential funding from sponsors. This is why I joined their team and established their web presence strategy and designed their website.
I led the project’s digital strategy by conducting research on competitors and users to define clear objectives. From there, I created the site plan and wireframes, designed the full interface, and ensured the final concept aligned with the team’s goals. I also presented the work to the team, providing them with a strong, user-centered vision for their website.
Through my contributions, the team secured second place at the international iGEM Grand Jamboree and significantly increased their visibility in the Outaouais region, strengthening community awareness. My work also boosted their credibility, helping them attract sponsor funding, while providing a strong and professional representation of their efforts.
